During the first week of school, Matthew came home with a binder that the teacher calls - The Moose Binder. So I wanted something special on it. Tell me what you think.

Card Making Challenge

I was on the Cricut Web site and one of the ladies had a challenge for the Design Studio software and I thought I would create something. The rule is that you have to use her cut file to create something with it. (Card Making/scrapbooking)

I think it turned out ok, I'm sure some of the others will take your breathe away.

Class Trip

We went to the Detroit Zoo for our Class Trip. We love taking the bus. Matthew took some really great pictures and we both had alot of fun. We started out with The Morris family and ended up with the Hubbard family. What a great bunch of families we have gotten to know over the past few years.

Last Day of Second Grade 2008

Matthew's teacher : Mrs. Schuman. Matthew really loved having her for his tracher. This is the perfect picture of them both. Matthews is very sad that Mrs. Schuman won't be his teacher next year.
I can't believe that he is going into the 3rd grade. Where has the time gone and what happened to my little baby??

BUNCO WEEKEND

The last weekend in May, some of the bunco girls when to Janene's for a Bunco Weekend in Cadillac. We had a great time. We did a little shopping in town, and played a few games, ate and drank. Just a great time. We want to do this every year. Thank again Janene for having us.

2008 Mother's Day (Girl's) weekend

On Wednesday Janene, Mom and I picked Michele up at the airport and headed for the cottage. What a time we had from Wed - Sun. We did a little shopping, had lunch with our Niece Courtney. Played games, drank and ate like Queens. Fun, Fun, Fun.

We laughed, We cried, We talked and were just were so happy to be together. We miss each other so much. We talked about them coming back in August for a Reunion - let's pray that it works out for them.

We always give each other a little gift on the first night. This year I made them each a set of greeting cards, some snacks and a few other items that I thought they would like. I didn't take any picture :( sorry...

Janene gave Michele and I a photo album with Mom & Dad's wedding pictures, I cried. It was the gift I have wanted for a long time. Michele gave Janene a pair of sleep pants that are black and white and say "It's all about me" all over them. She gave me a pink pair that has two little animals hugging. She said it was her and I. I LOVE THEM! They both gave Mom two beautiful tops. Mom gave us all a wonderful gift from Crabtree and Evelyn. for our hands. We couldn't wait to use it. We all had soft hands in about 10 minutes.

I love and miss you all already, and I'm looking forward to August. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Gift Card Holder for Teachers 2008

I was asked to make the thank you cards for Teacher Appreication day next week. This is what I came up with. They are gift card holders. I'm sure glad they are all ladies. I'm still working on them, only 11 more to do.

Dad & Lad Camp Out

Matthew and Ray went to the Dad & Lad Camp out with the other Cub Scouts. The weather overnight was 54* and winds up to 45 mph. Tents were blowing over/away. Matthew slept right though it.

1st Card using Skittles

This is my first card that I made after I found skittles. Skittles are little acrylic discs. I used 2 shades of pink. I love this card it took no time at all to make. Now that I have posted it I'm going to send it to my neice.

5 Years Cancer Free

I celebrated my 5th year of being cancer free on April 15, 2008. YEAH

We had a little party with family and friends. It was just perfect. I look forward to celebrating many, many more years.
